Search engines are basically the new "yellow pages". When a
potential client or interested party wishes to find a business or service,

Google) and type in
what they're looking for. If your website is not designed properly
then chances are that you will be listed very low in the search results,
or worse yet not at all. Example: Let's say that you own an
Italian restaurant in the Kansas City area, go to
www.yahoo.com
and type in "Italian restaurant Kansas City" and see if your company comes
up. If your company came up in the top 10 search results then your
website has been built properly. If you were not in the top 10 or
even in the top 100, then a search engine tune-up is needed on your

important that your company come up in the search engine by searching for
the NAME of your company, but rather your website comes up when someone
searches for the SERVICE that you provide. If the person searching
already knows the name of your company then chances are they already know
how to get a hold of you.
