Rattle and Hum - A Tribute to U2 are the Midwest's
up-and-coming PREMIER U2 Tribute! Formed in March 2006, the
band debuted on St Patrick's Day of that month at The Record
Bar in Westport, one of Kansas City's finest venues for local
live music. Since then the band have been building their
following by playing in many of the area's best live venues
like the Hurricane, the Brooksider and Raoul's, as well as
return performances at the Record Bar, including a fantastic
one year anniversary show in the parking lot on St Patrick's
Day of 2007. Another major highlight for the band was opening
for Collective Soul at a corporate-sponsored event at the
Voodoo Lounge at Harrah's Kansas City in April 2007. They
later returned to the Voodoo in November 2007 in their own
right.
Rattle and Hum KC are comprised of some of Kansas City's most
talented musicians: Mike Jackson belting out vocals true to
Bono's while playing rhythm guitar on select songs; Tony
Trevino's meticulous attention to detail in replicating The
Edge's guitar; Gary Bertoncin's backbeat on drums; and Pat
Ross' driving bass. The band are relentless in playing the
songs true to the originals with passion and energy, and
always win over any crowd they play in front of.
Rattle and Hum are available for private parties, corporate
events, college events (both private and
university-sponsored), festivals (especially IRISH festivals!)
and more, not only in the Kansas City area but also the
region: Omaha, Des Moines, St Louis, Springfield, Columbia,
Lawrence, Manhattan, Oklahoma City and Tulsa are among the
cities the band are keen on expanding their market out into in
2008.
